Azimut is an Italian yacht, one of the leading places in the world for the creation of exclusive motor yachts. The company specializes in motor yachts from 12 to 45 m long, providing 5 types: Azimut Flybridge (luxury class with flybridge), S Collection (sports), Magellano (expeditionary), Grande Collection (over 100 feet long) and Atlantis Collection (ultramodern )
The history of the path to success of Azimut Yachts began in 1969, and its creator is the enterprising Italian Paolo Vitelli. As a student, Paolo began organizing a yacht charter. But the love of the sea was not limited to this, but became only a fundamental incentive for the upcoming business development, another direction of which was the distribution of branded yachts in Italy. At the same time, in 1970, the company's customers were invited to design custom-made new yacht models.
Vitelli's first experimental experience was the mass production of motor boats with a fiberglass hull. The company quickly gained popularity, continuing to create boats of 2 reverse directions: the smallest and the longest. Specifically, with such a contrast - the very latest successful model of a small yacht and a larger fiberglass yacht - the company Azimut Yachts has found its own success against the background of more controversial rivals. In 1985, the company acquired the historical Benetti shipyard in Viareggio, whose history began back in 1873, and expanded its specialization to the construction of superyachts.
The creator of Azimut and his staff managed to combine the long-standing tradition of yacht building with the embodiment of modern innovative thoughts. The effect of such a contrast combination was not long in coming. Shipyard Azimut has become one of the global favorites for the construction of various yachts, and first megayachts.
A significant advantage of Azimut yachts is the highest environmental friendliness, which is achieved using Core Infusion technology, which involves the introduction of rubbers and paints that are poorly soluble in water, which reduces the risks of aquatic pollution. The development of modern engines and propellers with improved hydrodynamics allows to reduce the noise level and reduce fuel consumption, which is especially vital for long transitions, and the introduction of innovative materials and technologies helps to extend the life of ships.
Great experience in the construction of yachts and an ideal reputation, many years of tradition and innovative solutions, the constant expansion of service delivery, optimization of production and the embodiment of unique thoughts, a special approach to design - all these are the main features of the Azimut style, allowing the shipyards to occupy their favorite positions for many decades among the world-famous manufacturers of luxury yachts.
Any azimut yacht is a true masterpiece of the latest technology innovations, which are being worked on by leading masters of shipbuilding, architects and designers at shipyards equipped with the most modern equipment. Worldwide, there are more than 130 points of branch offices. Once a year, Azimut receives countless prestigious merits confirming the highest quality of its products.
