Mikatsu

The Korean Mikatsu outboard motors were introduced to the consumer in 2011. The model range traditionally includes 2- and 4-stroke engines of various capacities from 2.5 to 115 hp.

Korean engineers, technologists have created an innovative breakthrough in the field of technical solutions in the PLM production technology. From the start of production to the present day, special attention has been paid to quality control. Engines undergo multiple tests, bench tests. Various loads are being worked out during the operation of the motor. All this is aimed at increasing the life support resources of the engines and improving the quality of technical indicators. This is what ensures high customer demand. The forecast for 2018 is quite optimistic for the brand. The demand for Korean units is growing steadily. And the reason for this is high-quality production and optimal cost.

The plant for the production of PLMs of the Mikatsu brand is located in Busan (South Korea). The activity is carried out using patented licenses, spare parts, blocks and assemblies according to the technology of well-known Japanese brands Yamaha, Tohatsu and are produced on their basis. Mikatsu plant has production, engineering, testing and assembly shops, which allows you to optimize a lot of unnecessary costs and give the consumer an optimal price-quality ratio.

Equipment for the production of outboard motors (machine tools Huyndai, Doosan, Haas and other well-known trusted reliable manufacturers) also undergo strict quality control. And each engine that came down undergoes a special technical test under the control of the plant specialists, employees of the SGS international certification center and representatives of partners - the exclusive distributors of the plant. Three stages of quality control provide the maximum guarantee for a top-class product.

Before sending the next batch of motors, they all go through another stage of control. The presence of the necessary accompanying documentation, the integrity of the package and its tightness are checked. And only after careful control and confirmation of compliance with all stages of dispatch, the engines are sent to customers.

The high capacity of the plant is ensured by a large number of professionals. The company employs over 300 people. More than 60,000 pieces of equipment are produced annually. Production and administrative areas occupy about 3 square kilometers.

Production technicians are sure to monitor new trends in the water technology market and are ready to introduce all kinds of devices, if they have a positive effect on the quality of their products. So, every year, the appearance and equipment of Mikatsu motors are being finalized and improved in accordance with market trends and the wishes of the consumer.
