Beneteau Boat

In 2014, Beneto celebrated her 130th birthday, and there was something to celebrate. Today it is the largest manufacturer of sailing, motor yachts and boats; a team of 2,500 shipbuilding professionals; developed dealer network of intercontinental scale. Shipyard slipways annually give life to about 4 thousand yachts and boats of various classes and sizes.

The Beneteau range includes:

boats with hard-top and semi-closed saloon, closed cruising motor yachts with hard-top, yachts with hard-top and semi-closed cabin Gran Turismo;

cabin boats with hard-top and closed saloon and planing yachts with Antares flybridge;

high-speed motor yachts with flybridge luxury Montecarlo;

motor, cruise, cabin boats, bowriders, boats with a central Flyer control panel;

boats for fishing with a trawler cabin Barracuda;

motorized semi-displacement trawlers - Swift Trawler;

cruising sailing yachts with Mediterranean cockpit Oceanis;

sports sailing yachts First;

cruising wide sailing yachts with Mediterranean cockpit Sense.

Beneteau was founded by Benjamin Bénéteau in 1884 in Croix-de-Vie, now Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie in Vendé (western province of France). It is noteworthy that Monsieur Beneteau did not plan to connect his life with shipbuilding, this was a forced decision due to the need to provide his family and city with a catch. The same fate befell the founder's successor, Andre Beneto, although unlike his father, Andre had to continue the family business at the insistence of his father. The third person forced to devote himself to the shipyard business was Benjamin's granddaughter, Anette.

Yielding to the persuasion of her husband, she directed her financial talents into the development of the "grandfather business" and together with her brother Andre, the younger, revolutionized yacht building, replacing wood as a hull material with fiberglass. Three generations of managers went through the mistrust of neighbors and co-townspeople, then the skepticism of sailors and fishermen of that time, and even through the Second World War, but nevertheless, with many years of work, they built the Beneteau empire and gave the water world a huge number of engineering, architectural, innovative, comfortable, fashionable, high-speed and productive ships.

Today, Beneto's boats and yachts are boats that can easily reach 15 knots without pitching up. With enclosures from the "progenitors" of the composite and the owners of the process control technology in closed and open matrices. Developers of hybrid technology "infujection". Specialists in hydro and aerodynamics who have long mastered such characteristics as splash protection, shock absorption and wave bending. From 300 carpenters in the Vendée workshop, combining contemporary design trends with the Benetau carpentry tradition. From designers working with specially designed Catia et Smarteam software from Dassault Systèmes to create and create 3D models for at least 5 new sailboats per year.

From our own and third-party architects (NAUTA DESIGN, Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, etc.), year after year, working to find new solutions for speed, comfort, and most importantly the maximum combination of price and quality. And just from people who live in the innovative spirit of Benjamin and André Beneto.
